Eastnor castle 4th February 2019
On Monday 4th February Ahlberg class visited Eastnor castle to further support their understanding of the Medieval era and what it may have been like to live or work in a castle.
The trip was a huge success and all children thoroughly enjoyed their action packed day.
In the morning we were able to explore the castle and look through arrow loops as knights would have done in the Medieval times, discover what the different rooms were used for in the castle, look at the portraits of people who had lived in the castle and find out many more interesting facts.
In the afternoon we explored the grounds, played on the obstacle course, had fun in the adventure playground, completed the tree top climb, climbed trees and used the tree swing then mastered the knight's maze!
