Exciting News!

We are delighted to announce, through the combined efforts of the Friends and school, that following a successful bid to the National Lottery, we have been awarded funding of £10,000 towards the cost of replacing the outdoor ship and installation of a climbing wall, trapeze swing, log and net climber, parallel bars and climbing poles. The total cost of this project will be covered by the Lottery funding, a private donation to school and a contribution from the school Sport and PE funding allocated to primary schools since 2013, by the government.

Installation will be towards the end of May so the children will be able to use the equipment after the half-term break. We will shortly add a page to our school website which will feature news and photographs of the project, from start to finish.

Lottery bids take time and effort to submit, especially the successful ones such as ours, so I would like to pass on our thanks to the Friends and in particular Sarah Avery for managing the process so successfully.
