Our school day begins at 8:45am and finishes at 3:00pm.
Children arrive into their classrooms from 8:30am when a member of staff will be available to supervise. Please do not leave your child before this time as there will be no one to supervise them.
The School Car Park
We are very fortunate to have a large car park for parents to use. We operate a 'one-way system' in the car park area, going in on the left and around to the right.
To ensure there is enough room for everyone to use the car park we ask that parents reverse park on the outer area (this is safer for the children). There is room to park one row in the centre of the car park and one line of cars to park alongside these. In addition single file parking along the access road is available.
For the safety of all users we ask that you adhere to the 5 miles an hour speed limit.
In the mornings only, parents are encouraged to use our 'drop and go' service. Cars can pull up near the gate entrance from the car park and allow their child to exit the car, without the need for parking. A member of staff is on duty from 8:30am to receive these children safely.
Beginning of the School Day
Late arrivals should go to the school office to ensure they are registered and order their school dinner. Parents are asked to telephone the school if you are aware you will be late.
End of the School Day
Just before 3:00pm the playground gate will be unlocked and parents may access the playground ready to collect their child. The classes will be released at 3:00pm.
If you have arranged for someone else to collect your child please ensure you let us know. You can do this by informing your child's class teacher when dropping them off, or contacting the school office.
Some children are entitled to travel on the school bus. Application's to see if your child is eligible, should be made to Transport at Gloucestershire County Council. In the first instance you may wish to contact the school office for advice about eligibility.
On arrival at school the bus driver will wait until a member of school staff arrives to escort the children into school. At the end of the day a member of school staff will escort the children to the bus. The bus driver will not depart until all children are seated and wearing their safety belt. All children are expected to remain seated during the journey and behave appropriately.
